Reiki for Animals

Animals can really benefit from receiving Reiki, especially those who are suffering from physical, mental, emotional or behavioural problems.

They are usually very receptive to its healing influence and find it relaxing, especially cats, dogs and horses.

Animal communication also often occurs during a Reiki session. I find that I am able to pick up on physical symptoms, how the animal may be feeling emotionally and anything else they wish to share with their humans.

What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a deeply relaxing, non-invasive complementary therapy discovered by Dr Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 1900s. The word Reiki is pronounced ‘Ray Key’ and can be translated as ‘Universal Life-force Energy’.

Life energy is known as ‘ki’ in Japan, ‘chi’ in China and ‘prana’ in India. Reiki brings harmony and balance to the body, mind and spirit which promotes healing on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

Reiki promotes healing in the body, mind and spirit and can bring an immense sense of peace and calm within, restoring balance and harmony. It can be given in-person or over a distance.

Benefits of Reiki include:

Deep relaxation and stress relief

Relieving pain and discomfort

Reducing anxiety and tension

Improving quality of sleep

Lifting mood and energy levels

Aiding recovery from illness, injury or surgery

Calming and soothing stressed or nervous animals

Easing end of life transition

Promoting a sense of well-being, peace and calm

In-person Reiki Prices

£35 per session, per animal within five miles of Swadlincote, Derbyshire. Payment is accepted via bank transfer, cash or PayPal for in-person Reiki.

An in-person session usually lasts around 30-60 minutes. The animal decides how much they wish to receive.

Distant Reiki Prices

£25 per session, per animal, which is just as beneficial and good for nervous animals.

Payment is accepted via PayPal for distant Reiki for animals.

A distant session lasts around 20-30 minutes but this can vary greatly, depending on the needs of each animal. I use a photograph of the animal to make an energetic connection.

I also offer advice on cat and dog behaviour which may aid the healing process.
